Who We Are
CareToKorea is a medical travel service created for one purpose: to give Indian families direct, trustworthy access to South Korea’s leading hospitals and clinics.
South Korea has become one of the most sought-after healthcare destinations in the world. In 2025, more than two million international patients travelled there for treatment — an all-time record, and double the number of the year before (Ministry of Health and Welfare, April 2026) — drawn by cutting-edge diagnostics, world-renowned dermatology and plastic surgery, and a standard of hospitality that few countries can match. Meet the Founder
Ethan Yoon grew up and was educated in New Zealand, completing high school and a degree in Economics at the University of Auckland before returning to South Korea. He spent the following years in international trade, serving as CEO of a South Korean trading company until 2025. In 2024 he relocated with his family to Bengaluru, where he lives today.
Ethan comes from a family of doctors. That background, combined with more than a decade of doing business across Asia, has given him an unusually wide and deep network within South Korea’s medical community — from university hospitals to the country’s most respected dermatology and plastic surgery clinics. CareToKorea is built on those relationships, and Ethan personally oversees every client from first enquiry to follow-up.
